- — Why does its design often change?
Have you ever stopped for a second to think how all of that magic is possible? I did many times and still do! Endless questions about how it all works on the inside have earned me my job.
We'll talk in details about that and more in this course.
My name is Alex and I've been working with data for almost 10 years. I am currently employed as a manager of data analytics in the insurance industry. I used to work in a restaurant and night clubs but at some point I grew tired of it and decided to change careers. Since then, I have worked in oil & gas, international logistics and now in insurance.
At first, all I was driven by was higher salary so IT seemed like a no-brainer. However, it's not easy to get into that industry without any technical skills so I started looking for paths of least resistance and found data analytics.
Just like most people, I started with Excel and soon moved onto more specialized data tools. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't choose to go to college to get an expensive computer science degree because I spent a lot less money and time learning exactly what was needed to get an entry-level job in the field.
